Girls Generation’s Busiest Member is…???

Girls Generation has finished promoting ‘The Boys’ and have been concentrating on their individual schedules.

Artists usually take a break after their album promotion but artists these days have been a little different. Idols these days are busy with their overseas schedules and individual schedules after their album promotion in Korea. And of course international K-Pop star Girls Generation is no exception.

Here are Girls Generation’s individual schedules.

YoonA, Yuri and SooYoung will be acting.

YoonA will be starring in ‘Love Rain’ with Hallyu prince Jang GuenSuk. Yuri has been casted for SBS drama ‘Fashion King’. SooYoung will be acting under her real name Choi SooYoung on tvN drama ‘The 3rd Hospital’.

Taeyeon, SeoHyun and Tiffany are taking the role of MCs.

Taeyeon, SeoHyun and Tiffany will be the MCs of MBC music program ‘Show! Music Center’. In addition, SeoHyun has also been busy filming commercials and participating in the musical ‘Fame’.

Jessica will be taking a break.

Jessica has been busy filming KBS 2TV ‘Wild Romance’ so now time for a little break.

Hyoyeon will bring laughter to fans through game shows.

Hyoyeon has been chosen as the member with the best personality in Girls Generation. She will continue her role on KBS 2TV show program ‘Invincible Youth2’.

The busiest member is Sunny.

Sunny will also continue ‘Invincible Youth2’ with Hyoyeon. She will be adding the MC of SBS MTV ‘Music Island’ and the musical ‘Cats’  to her busy schedule.

SM Entertainment official stated, “Sunny has been very active in many fields. She’s been feeling a bit of pressure since it’s her first time as a MC and ‘Catch Me If You Can’ is her first musical.”

Miss A Suzy’s Size Confessions

Miss A member Suzy came clean about her true physical measurements.

In the upcoming episode of MBC Weekly Idol, members of Miss A were featured as the main guests for the week. During a segment that reviewed each member’s celebrity profile, Miss A members were given an opportunity to speak their honest thoughts on the numbers written in their profile pages.

Suzy, the youngest yet the tallest one in the group, said, “I grew a little taller, so now I’m actually 168cm (about 5’6”).” She also admitted that the height increase came with some weight gain as well.

KARA’s First Solo Concert is Huge Success

Girl group KARA has successfully finished their first ever solo concert in Korea.

The concert, which was called “KARASIA,” was held on February 18th at 6 PM at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul. It was KARA’s first solo concert since the group debuted 5 years ago.

The girls began their show with their song “Step.” Afterwards, they performed a total of 33 of their songs, including hits such as “Wanna,” “Jumping,” “Secretly, Secretly,” “Date,” and “With.”

After the opening number, Park Gyuri greeted the fans, “Welcome to everyone who has come to the concert. We were a bit worried because the weather was cold, but we’re glad that so many of you came. Thank you very much.“

During the concert, each of the KARA members treated their fans to a special solo performance. The girls each took the utmost care to put together a perfect performance for their fans. Thus, they participated in every step of the process, including selecting the wardrobe, directing, and producing.

KARA’s leader Park Gyuri was the first member to hit the stage for her solo performance. Gyuri entered the stage wearing a red dress and began to dance the tango with a male dancer. Once the male dancer left the stage, she broke into a sad song about a girl’s pain of being left by her lover. The performance was similar to a musical and was fitting to Gyuri’s strong vocal talent.

After Gyuri, Han Seungyeon appeared on stage in an adorable dress that made her look like she stepped straight out of a fairy tale. She sang the song “Super Star” from the soundtrack of the drama “Mary Stayed Out All Night.”

Nicole performed a rock version remake of Michael Jackson‘s “Beat It.” Fans were surprised to see such a strong and charming performance from Nicole, since she is typically viewed as cutesy. In particular, fans were delighted as Nicole perfectly mimicked Jackson’s signature moonwalk dance and his step dance.

Goo Hara caught the attention of all her male fans as she poured her lovely charm into her song while suspended in the air wearing a pink mini-dress.

Finally, KARA’s youngest member, Kang Jiyoung transformed KARA’s song “Umbrella” into a sweet ballad as she sang an acoustic version of the song.

The concert lasted for 2 hours and included songs from their debut album up to their latest Japanese albums. For the encore performance, the girls sang “Pretty Girl,” “Girls Be Ambition,” and “Rock U.” The fans were treated to a special night where they were able to see new sides to each of the KARA members.

KARA is now preparing for their Asian tour which will begin in April.

Oprah Replies to Tiger JK’s Tweet

Tiger JK seemed overjoyed earlier this morning, after receiving a reply tweet from the world-famous “queen of talk,”  Oprah Winfrey.

On February 19th, Tiger JK had send a message to Oprah Winfrey as a fan, via his Twitter account. The message read: “@Oprah When can I meet you my wifey @yoonmirae had me watch all your shows and had a grown man cry. God bless.”

About an hour after Tiger JK made the tweet, Tiger JK was stoked to find a short and sweet reply from Oprah Winfrey herself, who mentioned Tiger JK’s Twitter account and said, “Nice wifey” (highlighted in yellow below).

Immediately after seeing the reply, Tiger JK could not contain his excitement and made multiple tweets, expressing how stoked he was after receiving a tweet from Oprah. He eventually woke up his wife Yoon Mi Rae to show her the tweet, which probably made her morning as well.

Jessica Credits Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young for Successful Acting Debut

With the end of KBS 2TV‘s drama “Wild Romance” in sight, SNSD‘s Jessica has shared her thoughts on acting for the first time.

Jessica joined the cast during the mid-season of “Wild Romance” and played the role of actor Lee Dong Wook‘s first love. Her character added much anxiety to the drama as she came between the fights of Lee Si Young‘s and Lee Dong Wook’s characters. Despite the drama being her acting debut, she played the role perfectly, with zero moments of awkward acting. She received much praise for her natural acting skills and for her feminine beauty and fashion sense.

Jessica commented, “I was really excited for my first attempt at acting, and it was a lot of fun. I’m really thankful for my senior actors Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young. During our breaks, they both coached me and helped me practice my lines.” She added, “I will work my hardest to become the lively SNSD’s Jessica and to grow into the actress Jessica.“

Jessica has recently toured the States, France, and Thailand with SNSD. She has been praised for her ability to balance drama filming with her busy schedule as a singer. “Wild Romance” is scheduled to air its final episode on February 23rd.

Kara Releases First Photo Book ‘Je t’aime’

For the very first time since their debut, girl group Kara is releasing a photo book titled, ‘Je t’aime.’

According to Kara’s agency on February 17th, the photo book will contain over 340 never-before-seen pictorial cuts of Kara members, taken during their trip in Paris, France. The book will also contain love letters, which were personally written by each Kara member for the fans.

Kara‘s photo book ‘Je t’aime’ has already been released in Japan since the 14th of this month. ‘Jet t’aime’ will become available for sale at off-line book stores in Korea, on February 21st. The Korean version of Kara’s photo book will contain an additional 6 different kinds of signed postcards.

Prior to releasing their photo book in Korea, Kara will be performing at their exclusive concert in Seoul, which will take place at the Olympic Stadium on February 18th and 19th.

Recently on an online community’s dashboard, a Miss A fan wrote, ‘Suzy’s random signatures. Best fan service’. The fan had collected a series of Suzy’s autographs and was captured in a few photos.
