Language barrier be damned, Girls’ Generation have broken into the U.S. music scene.
Last night, the massively successful girl group made their U.S. television debut on the major network talk show, “Late Show with David Letterman,” where they performed “The Boys.”
Their exposure to U.S. audiences were bolstered by the preceding guests, Bill Murray and Regis Philbin, who are both iconic in American pop culture. David Letterman introduced Girls’ Generation by saying, “Our next guests are a very popular group from South Korea who have just released their first album in America. It’s entitled ‘The Boys.’ Please welcome, making their network television debut, Girls’ Generation.” The girls performed in matching black outfits, showing off the sexy side of Korea, and sang the Clinton Sparks & Disco Fries remix of “The Boys.”
Girls’ Generation is also slated to appear on “Live! With Kelly” tomorrow.
